Rosemont 138-kV Transmission Line Project
TEP is in the preliminary stages of planning for the construction and operation of new electrical transmission facilities to serve the proposed Rosemont Copper mine in the Santa Rita Mountains southeast of Tucson. Rosemont has requested construction power by fall 2010 and full operational power by July 2011, pending the timely approval of its proposed operations.
