RENEWABLE PORTFOLIO STANDARD PROGRAMS

The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) has mandated under the Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS), Decision No. 62506, that any Electric Service Provider (ESP) shall derive a percentage of its total retail energy sold from new solar resources or environmentally friendly renewable electricity technologies, whether that energy is purchased or generated by the seller.
