Short-Term Assistance

Help for qualifying customers in financial distress

TEP works with community organizations to provide limited, emergency bill payment assistance for limited-income customers in financial distress. Participation is limited, and qualifications may vary depending on the agency.

Assistance Criteria

  • Eligibility is limited to customers whose household income does not exceed levels based on federal poverty guidelines.
  • Agencies can only provide assistance to residents of their designated service area.
  • Customers must complete applications and provide forms of identification and other documentation required by participating agencies.
