Emergency Bill Payment

Low-income agency assistance for residential customers

Community organizations may provide you emergency bill payment assistance if you find that you are having difficulty making ends meet. Qualified low-income households can contact these agencies for help in paying your bill.

Depending on where you live, a community agency may be able to help in obtaining funds to pay your energy bill in certain emergency situations. Requirements are in place and may vary according to the agency.

Assistance Criteria

  • Meet household income requirements that are based on federal poverty income levels.
  • Live within service area as defined by the agency's requirements for assistance.
  • Applications, forms of identification and other documentation as required by each agency.
