Tucson, Ariz. ? UniSource Energy Vice President Steven W. Lynn has been named the company's Chief Customer Officer and will oversee its relationships with customers of utility subsidiaries Tucson Electric Power and UniSource Energy Services.

Lynn, 63, has added responsibility for the company's customer service efforts to his oversight of communications, government relations and community service operations. He will work to ensure that UniSource Energy's operations remain focused on meeting customers' needs in an evolving energy marketplace.

"Steve will represent customers' interests throughout UniSource Energy, making sure that we maintain and improve our historically strong commitment to the businesses and residents who rely on our service," said Paul Bonavia, Chairman, President and CEO of UniSource Energy (NYSE: UNS).

"Our pursuit of renewable energy and energy efficiency goals and the deployment of smart-grid technology cannot succeed unless our current relationship with customers evolves," Lynn said. "My job is to actively advocate for customers to make sure that relationship generates real dividends for all parties."
