Focusing on Your Business

Welcome to the inaugural edition of Plugged In Business.

This new quarterly electronic newsletter from Tucson Electric Power is focused on helping your business succeed by reducing your energy costs and informing you about available programs and incentives.

Plugged In Business will provide energy efficiency advice, information about TEP services, safety tips, updates on community events and other relevant news. We’ll address issues such as lighting retrofits, solar energy, “green” buildings, surge protection and other important energy management topics.

A Q&A section with a Certified Energy Manager will answer technical questions and provide recommendations on energy issues submitted by our customers.

Plugged In Business also will include case studies on Tucson businesses that have partnered with TEP to reduce their energy use and boost their bottom line. In this issue, read about how Hotel Congress has worked with TEP to reduce its energy costs by $14,000 a year.

Keep an eye out for Plugged In Business e-newsletters in October 2015, January 2016 and April 2016. Feel free to spread the word and share this e-newsletter with your staff, vendors and colleagues. Anyone can sign up.

Plugged In Business is intended to complement the services of TEP’s new business customer relationship management team. The team includes six energy experts with nearly 100 years of combined customer service and energy experience at TEP. They’re here to serve as your energy advisors, addressing any billing or payment issues and sharing suggestions for reducing your energy expenses.

“Our business customers told us they wanted relevant communications and help managing their energy costs,” said Julie O’Neal, Manager of Business Solutions for TEP. “Our team of energy experts wants Tucson businesses to be successful.”

Our team members will be introducing themselves to you soon by email or telephone or at Chamber of Commerce events. For additional information now, please call 520-495-6333 or email pluggedinbusiness@tep.com.
