As community events begin to return, TEP has a busy month supporting signature events for several local nonprofit groups and organizations.

Here are some of the events we’re sponsoring this month:

Camp Cooper’s Night at the Museum, Sept. 14: The Cooper Center for Environmental Learning is hosting a free donor appreciation event and museum takeover at the Children’s Museum Tucson. TEP employees will be handing out free LED bulbs.

Primavera Cooks!, Sept. 14: TEP is supporting a summer dining series at local Tucson restaurants to benefit the Primavera Foundation. TEP is sponsoring the meal at Tavolino Ristorante Italiano.

Big Brothers Big Sisters, Sept. 17: The Big, The Little and The Western Gala Dinner and auction.

Copper Cactus Awards by the Tucson Metro Chamber, Sept. 23: TEP sponsors the Social Impact category to support local nonprofit organizations.

Puttin’ on the Dog Gala benefitting the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, Sept. 24

Pride in the Desert, Sept. 30 – Oct. 1: The Pride parade will be held on Sept. 30 in downtown Tucson and the festival is scheduled for Oct. 1 at Reid Park to support the LGBTQ+ community.

HungerWalk to benefit the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, Sept. 10.

9/11 Tower Challenge, Sept. 11: Employees will join others in walking the equivalent of the 110 floors of the Twin Towers to pay respect to those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Love of Literacy event at the Children’s Museum Tucson, Sept. 17.
