This is an occasional feature in which we answer questions that are frequently fielded by our Commercial Customer Service Representatives, who specialize in our business, nonprofit organization and school customers. George Larrinaga answers this month’s question.

Q. I’m trying to save time by increasing efficiency at my workplace. What are some ways that I can pay my bill?

A. The best way to pay is the one that works most efficiently for your business. Because there are many different types of businesses, we offer many ways to pay your bill.  Some business owners may not be aware that the same programs we have for residential customers are also available for the workplace.

To start, set up an online account through My Account. That way, you can easily manage your bills and programs on the TEP website or mobile app.

Budget Billing: Make the same monthly payment year-round by dividing your estimated yearly charges across each month. We’ll look at your usage over the past 12 months, and then divide that amount into 12 equal monthly payments, so you know how much to budget for your electric bill.

Auto Pay: Deduct your monthly payment automatically from your U.S. checking or savings account. You won’t have to write a check or worry about the mail. Plus, you’ll avoid late fees or notices.

TEP e-bill: Go green with paperless billing. You’ll receive an email when your bill is ready to view and pay.

Do you have a question that you would like featured in a future newsletter? Please email your questions to Plugged In Business and we’ll ask our Commercial Service team.
