Weatherization Program
The TEP Weatherization Program is an easy way for low-income customers to receive free energy-efficient products and improvements installed throughout their homes. In addition to saving energy and money, these no-cost retrofits can make your home more cozy and comfortable.
How does it work?
We’ll begin with a free assessment of your home to examine its energy health and to identify whether you’re eligible for additional improvements. During this free appointment, you will receive installations of free energy-efficient products, which may include ENERGY STAR® certified LEDs, showerheads, and kitchen and bathroom faucet aerators. After the free home assessment, you could be eligible for energy-efficient improvements at no cost to you, which may include appliance replacements, insulation upgrades, and air duct sealing.
Your free weatherization assessment could include:
- Blower door testing
- Appliance replacement
- Insulation upgrades in your attic
- Servicing your heat pump or air conditioner
- Installation of ENERGY STAR® LED Bulbs, energy-efficient showerheads and faucet aerators
