Non-Profit Transportation Pilot
As part of its approved three-year Transportation Electrification Implementation Plan, TEP is offering support toward the purchase of electric fleet vehicle(s) and charger(s) for non-profits that provide transportation and services to seniors, workforce development program participants, and low-to-moderate (LMI) customers.
In partnership with O’Rielly Chevrolet, TEP is offering the following rebates for non-profits providing these services with funding toward 2024 EV Blazer(s) and charging infrastructure:

Offering | Rebate Amount |
---|---|
Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Rebate | Up to $45,000 per 2024 EV Blazer. Funding for up to 4 vehicles total is available. Non-profits may apply for the max (4) available vehicles; however, awarded vehicles may be less than the total number requested if multiple non-profits are awarded. |
O'Rielly Chevrolet 2024 EV Chevy Blazer Deal | Offered to non-profits at cost with additional GM EV Bonus Cash Rebate of $7,500. Vehicles may be enrolled in O’Rielly’s Courtesy Transportation Program, which adds an additional $2,500 rebate for ~2,000 miles of travel prior to purchase. |
EV Charging Infrastructure Rebate | Up to $9,000 per Level 2 charging port, capped at 95% of eligible project costs for up to 4 ports |
Eligibility: 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations providing transportation services such as transport to work or training sites and other services such as meal delivery, who operate in TEP’s service territory are able to apply for support with this form. The fleet charging location must be located within TEP’s service territory. To facilitate the installation process, awarded applicants can sign up for installation services offered by Qmerit.
Awardees must agree to a Site Host Agreement, which requires the chargers be connected to one of TEP’s time-of-use (TOU) or standalone EV pricing plans, and that the chargers must be kept in good working order for a minimum of 5 years. The Site Host Agreement also specifies that each vehicle received by each non-profit may be wrapped with TEP, O’Rielly Chevrolet, and the non-profit’s logo, among other marketing requirements. TEP will work with each non-profit to ensure that wraps and marketing align with their own brand design.
All applications are due by April 9, 2025. Vehicle and charger funding is limited as outlined above. This is a competitive application process. TEP will review all applications in full before providing decisions of funding award.
