TEP offers several convenient billing and payment choices

Online, by phone, by mail and in person – you can choose how you want to pay. TEP provides payment options that meet your needs and can simplify your life.

TEP e-bill (no fee)

TEP e-bill is a convenient, free service that enables you to securely receive, view and pay your TEP bill online — saving you time and simplifying your life. What's more, TEP e-bill is a comprehensive service that extends your options, such as having a summary of your e-bill sent directly to your email address.

The paperless bill looks like the paper version and interactive links are provided to the TEP website so that you receive the same communications as offline customers.

With TEP e-bill, you're able to:

  • Receive, view and pay your TEP bill online
  • View 24 months of your e-bill usage history
  • Schedule automatic payments from your U.S. checking or savings account
  • Receive an email notification when your bill is ready to view and pay

Once enrolled in TEP e-bill, your bills will be delivered to your designated email address — and you will have the added benefit of being able to pay online.

Auto Pay (no fee)

Have your monthly bill automatically deducted from your U.S. checking or savings account. No check to write and mail. No late fees or notices.

You'll still receive a monthly TEP statement notifying you in advance of the amount and date the deduction will take place. Your payment will be conveniently itemized on your next bank statement. Plus, there are no sign-up costs or monthly transaction fees.

Why a fee?

This payment service is provided by a third-party payment processor for Tucson Electric Power. The payment processor will add a nominal convenience fee to the total amount of the payment. You will be given an opportunity to accept or decline the payment after the total amount is calculated.

Pay by mail

When paying by mail, please do not submit cash. Submit only a check drawn from a United States (U.S.) bank or a domestic money order.
 

Please include the following:

  • Bill stub
  • U.S. check or a domestic money order
  • TEP account number printed on the front side of the payment

 

Before you seal the envelope:

  • Verify that your TEP account number appears on the front of your payment
  • Verify that your payment is either a U.S. check or a domestic money order. Please do not submit cash.

Courtesy drop box

When paying at a courtesy drop box location, submit a check drawn from a United States (U.S.) bank or a domestic money order only — no cash, please.
 

To avoid a delay in posting your payment:

  • Allow up to five business days for your drop box payment to post to your account. Use an alternate payment method if your electric service is subject to disconnection.
  • Verify that your payment is either a U.S. check or a domestic money order. Please do not deposit cash.
  • Print your TEP account number on the front of your payment.
  • Enclose the payment with your bill stub in a sealed TEP envelope.
  • Insert your payment into the drop box at one of the following locations:

Pay in person

Visit Walmart to pay your bill

Cash and debit card payments are accepted at the customer service counter or Money Center in any Walmart, Walmart Supercenter or Walmart Neighborhood Market in the U.S. A nominal fee may be charged by the payment service provider. For store hours, please call the store of your choice or visit walmart.com.
 

Visit Basha's to pay your bill

Cash-only payments are accepted at the customer service counter of any Basha’s location in the TEP service territory. A nominal fee may be charged by the payment service provider. For store hours and locations, visitbashas.com.

Disconnect notices

If you are scheduled for disconnection and need to make an immediate payment please choose from the following options:

Please visit Walmart or Basha's to pay in person. Find a convenient location in the links above. After payment is made, call Customer Care at 520-623-7711 to provide your payment confirmation number located on your receipt.
