Save time and money with Auto Pay and never again worry about missing an electric bill payment. With Auto Pay, your monthly electric bill payment is automatically deducted from your checking or savings account.

You'll still receive a monthly TEP statement notifying you in advance of the amount and date the deduction will take place. Your payment will be conveniently itemized on your next bank statement. Plus, there are no sign-up costs or monthly transaction fees.

This payment option is free. Please note that we cannot change or cancel your payment within two business days of a scheduled payment. While funds will be withdrawn on the due date identified in your account, some banks may reflect a “pending status” up to two days in advance of the withdrawal.

Pick Your Own Due Date

Most Auto Pay customers are also eligible to select a Preferred Due Date, a new program that lets you choose the bill due date that works best for your monthly schedule. Whether you want your payment to fall right after payday or to avoid a crowded week of other bills, you’re now in control.

Getting started is easy

Just pick the date that works for you, and your new due date will take effect on your next billing cycle. If your chosen date falls on a weekend or holiday, it will automatically shift to the next business day for your convenience.

And since you’re already on Auto Pay, your payment will continue to be made automatically on the date you select, giving you even more predictability and peace of mind.
