Northwest Marana Reliability Project

Tucson Electric Power is helping Marana thrive by building a stronger, smarter grid that supports the community’s growing energy needs and maintains reliable service.

The Northwest Marana Reliability Project will reinforce systems critical to providing safe, reliable service – even during extreme weather conditions. TEP’s planned improvements include new higher-voltage transmission line segments, a new switchyard, and a new substation.

Virtual Open House

TEP is refining line segments through a detailed suitability analysis following a review of environmental and land use impacts. We encourage residents and other interested parties to participate in our virtual open house.

Please share your thoughts about the refined segments by Feb. 14 by filling out an online comment form or other methods listed below in Public Participation.
