Look for TEP employees in their blue volunteers shirts at area Target stores Sundays in July. They will help collect donated school supplies for the Pima County Sheriff Department’s “Fill the Victor” school supply drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“Victor” is the nickname of the sheriff’s large command vehicle. TEP volunteers will be helping deputies fill that vehicle with donations for teachers nominated by their students during the sheriff’s department’s Badges & Backpacks event on July 13.
Donations will be collected at these store locations on the following dates:
- July 14 – 9615 E. Old Spanish Trail, Tucson
- July 21 – 3901 W. Ina Road, Tucson
- July 28 – 10555 N. Oracle Road, Oro Valley
TEP also will host a tent at the event where you can pick up free LED light bulbs, energy saving tips and information about our energy efficiency programs.
