Asset Management Analyst Enjoys Her Role

Alex L. is always plotting her next move, diligently making five-year plans for her education, career and personal life.

Those same skills translate to her job as an Asset Management Analyst – a position that requires meticulous tracking of specific projects throughout the company.

“I have taken meticulous, ordered steps in my life and in my career choices,” Alex said.

“I really appreciate the company’s supportive culture. And what makes this job fulfilling is the collaboration and the variety of different projects that come across my desk and the continuous learning that happens as a result."

More than five years ago, Alex moved to Tucson at the suggestion of friends because of the cost of living and better job opportunities. She had finished her bachelor’s degree and her first child was 1 year old.

After serving in a contractor position in client services, Alex was hired as a permanent employee three years ago. A second child and master’s degree followed.

“I really appreciate the company’s supportive culture. And what makes this job fulfilling is the collaboration and the variety of different projects that come across my desk and the continuous learning that happens as a result,” Alex said. “We get to talk to so many people.”
