Time is running out for businesses to take advantage of Tucson Electric Power’s electric vehicle charging incentives.

Businesses, organizations and schools for now can save time and money with TEP’s Smart EV Charging Program, which offers rebates on chargers and expert advice.

Applications close on May 31. After this final round, the program and incentives will be discontinued.

Here’s how we can help.

Rebates

Rebates, as well as technical support, are available to commercial businesses, multifamily complexes and nonprofit organizations that purchase and install EV charging ports at their locations. Customers in lower-income neighborhoods may be eligible for higher rebates.

Our rebates help offset your purchase and installation costs, making it easier to become a leader in developing sustainable EV infrastructure for our community. Rebate amounts vary by the type of charger and are capped at 100 percent of project costs.

Installation Support

TEP makes it easier for businesses to install electric vehicle chargers for their fleets, employees and customers through turnkey installation services offered through Qmerit.

Qmerit works with its network of installers to provide customers  with a competitive proposal that includes full design and cost details. Then, Qmerit manages project installation end-to-end, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience.

Fleet Advisory Services

We offer discounted advisory services to help businesses and organizations that are interested in converting their fleets to electric vehicles.

Through our Fleet Advisory Services, we can help you assess the benefits of using electric vehicles at your business. TEP contracts with DNV to conduct an in-depth analyses of fleet vehicles, vehicle operations, and existing facility infrastructure. The assessments also determine the benefits, total costs of ownership, emissions reductions, and conversion options. A free online tool is also available.
