TEP representatives demonstrated leadership as speakers at recent conferences to highlight how our efforts contribute to economic development and responsible growth.
Our presence at partner events provides avenues for building public trust, as well as demonstrating our support for growth initiatives.
Ryan Anderson, Business Development Manager, served on a panel at the Arizona Association for Economic Development’s Spring Conference on April 17.
He spoke on a panel titled, “The Push and Pull of Progress: Frustrations, Inspirations, and Action in Economic Development.” The discussion focused on ways communities and economic development partners can align to make strategic decisions on growth.
Anderson spoke alongside a representative from Arizona State University and Newport SW, an affordable housing developer. Site selectors and economic development professionals from around the state and country gathered to understand the challenges associated with infrastructure deployment and how to best cooperate with electric utilities.
“Economic development is a team sport. The more we understand about our partners, and the more our partners understand about us, the better we are able to foster community prosperity,” Anderson said.
