Making your business more energy efficient just got easier – and more affordable.

A new online store now offers instant rebates on a variety of qualifying energy efficient products for local businesses, schools, nonprofits, government agencies and contractors through TEP’s Fast Checkout program.

With a few clicks, TEP’s commercial customers can get significant savings on items ranging from faucet aerators and pipe insulation to advanced power strips and light fixtures from AM Conservation.

The online store expands the Fast Checkout program’s offerings, which previously provided only rebates on lighting through local in-person distributors.

Five local distributors, including Arizona Commercial Lighting, are continuing to partner with TEP to issue rebates at the time of purchase.

“Every business, no matter the size, can take part,” said Edith Garcia, TEP’s Senior Residential Energy Efficiency Program Manager for Tucson Electric Power. “This program is especially helpful to smaller businesses by eliminating extra steps in the rebate process.”

Through such initiatives, TEP supports local economic development in our communities by extending programs that help local businesses conserve energy and lower bills.

A wide range of businesses have taken advantage of the lighting program from local distributors over the years, from hardware and automotive retailers to hotels and furniture stores.

At the storefronts, the Fast Checkout process is simple and takes just a few minutes. First, the customer or installing contractor visits a participating vendor to purchase pre-qualified lighting products. After the customer completes the purchaser agreement form, the rebate is deducted from their total.

Products must be installed in our service territory by a TEP commercial customer within 30 days.
